HEALTH HACK 🥗

NETFIT Nutritionist Jess Spendlove shares a little secret about Meal prep – it is about whatever works for you!
.
It doesn’t have to be 10x meals prepped at the start of the week with matching snacks in cute Tupperware (I mean it can be) but if that level of prep and commitment freaks you out, dial it back to what works for you.
.
Meal prep can be a grocery shop + some prepping of different items in the fridge so you can throw together quick and easy dinners and lunches.
.
It might mean making a bulk salad, roasting some veggies, preparing some protein and having it there ready to go.
.
If you feel out of control with your food, and are on the hampster wheel of wanting to prep more, but don’t know where to begin, just start somewhere.
.
Go and do a grocery shop for key snacks and staples. Starting the week with the right food in your fridge and pantry is an amazing step.
.
If you are already doing that, then choose one meal or snack you want to improve on, or prepare more consistently and go from there.
.
If the start of your week is good, but you fall off the wagon Wednesday onwards, aim to do a second lot of prepping mid week.
.
It’s about creating a habit, gaining momentum, getting confidence and then it all just starts to happen.
.
To all those meal prep kings and queens out there, hats off to you, but for the majority of people just wanting to eat a little bit better, feel more organised with their food, feel amazing, just pick one thing and start somewhere, and then watch the magic happen.
